Why I browse million dollar houses as a broke 25 year old

Have you ever driven through beautiful neighborhoods only wishing one day you will be living in one of those houses? Well, I do it often. Not to wish and be jealous of the life someone else has but to keep my goals in front of me!

I have heard countless stories of poor, young dreamers walking on the beach or looking at the land they will once own everyday until they have it. It’s a funny thing we do envisioning ourselves in the life we want but it works.

There is a gorgeous neighborhood here in Colorado that I go back to often. The houses are custom made, on at least an acre of land, and so unique to the builder. Some of them look like log cabins up in the mountains and others are as modern as a European house. There is this one house with all the toys (besides a pool which I would obviously have)! Every time I drive or walk past it I can just see myself in it. Working from home, with my pretty little family, overlooking the beautiful Colorado Rockies in a house that I have always dreamed of.

The people who live there might think I'm crazy (and maybe even a little creepy, who knows) that I swing by to envision myself in that house every once in a while. But it’s a powerful thing to envision your dreams coming true.

So whatever is it in your life that you dream of, keep it in front of you. Whether it's your dream car, or an example of what you want your relationships to be, or being able to provide for your family without worries. Keep your goals and dreams in the forefront of your mind so you don't forget them and will always work towards them.
